Meet Dr. Penny
“It is my goal to make a difference in people’s lives. Nothing makes me happier or more humble than taking the pain away or making a patient smile. Being a dentist has been a blessing; I feel grateful for the trust that my patients have placed in me over the years. I have been practicing for over 37 years and have met so many wonderful people, and they have all enriched my life in one way or another.
“Nothing would be possible without my amazing team. They work so hard and love our patients, and the patients love them back. We love to smile and it shows!” — Dr. Penny
Dr. John Penny graduated from Seminole High School, right here in Pinellas County, before attending the University of South Florida for his undergraduate education. He continued on to the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery there.
Dr. Penny is dedicated to keeping abreast of the ever-changing world of dentistry, as new technology emerges all the time. In the community
Dr. Penny believes in giving back to the community that has given him so much over the years. So he spends a lot of his free time outside the practice contributing to the growth and development of the area by sharing his knowledge of health and dentistry, and promoting healthy, active lifestyles for all. Dr. Penny volunteers his time with the Pinellas County Health Department to provide dental care to low-income patients, and sponsors many local charities and community fundraisers.
